Stripped has been founded by two childhood friends, Sarah and Amy, on the firm belief that shopping mindfully should still be fun and effortless. We want to disrupt the womenswear market with a much needed, sustainability-led alternative, that doesn’t compromise on style. That’s why we carefully select pieces that, whilst beautiful, also have sustainable and ethical practices in their DNA.
We know how difficult it can be to make eco-friendly choices; where to look for these alternatives and what information to trust. At Stripped, we strip back the confusing information surrounding what sustainability actually means, and present a platform that opens the door of conscious shopping to the masses.
By working with brands who have sustainable and ethical practices at their core, we’re able to provide honest and transparent communication for every single garment. We provide information on four key pillars for each garment: Emissions, Water Consumption, Circularity and Workers Rights, so that you get a true picture of the items impact. During the making of Stripped, we have been in awe of just how many incredible brands are paving the way for change. By championing these brands, we aim to provide a solution for the much-needed shift in our shopping habits and put the soul back into clothes shopping. We’re at a really exciting time of awakening and revolution, and believe that by collaborating with our brilliant community, we can all help make a brighter future.
