This top is made from deadstock fabric, which would have otherwise gone into landfill. By using this material, the need to create fabric from scratch is completely removed, and therefore, no further emissions are released into the atmosphere. Camille has made this garment by hand at her studio in New Zealand.

This piece is bringing use to material that would have otherwise ended up in landfill. As a slow fashion brand, Camille works on a made-to-order model, thus reducing any excess stock that may end up as waste. Every piece created by Camille has been designed without seasons in mind, made to be worn in a versatile way.

One cotton shirt on average requires approximately three thousand liters of water. By using cotton that was already going to waste, Camille is reducing the need to create further cotton material and therefore reduces the overall water consumption.

Camille Studios runs entirely as a one-woman-band. Camille herself is the Founder and Maker with each piece being lovingly hand-sewn in sunny Aukland. She is truly passionate about each piece she creates, looking to bring fun to sustainability.
