Olly is on a mission to create pretty swimwear with limited impact on the environment. Olly use materials that aid reducing their carbon footprint, including 82% recycled polyamide and 18% recycled elastane.
Olly aims to source as many of its materials as locally as possible within the EU to limit their transport carbon footprint.

Olly designs with giving new life to existing waste material in mind. Although using recycled materials within the swimwear drastically reduces the impact of Olly’s swimwear, it does also mean that their bikinis will emit microplastics in the same way that traditional lace does. We therefore suggest washing Olly’s lingerie using a Guppy Bag that will keep all microplastics out of our waterways.
Olly’s packaging is entirely plastic-free. It uses FSC certified recycled cards manufactured in France, and is printed using vegetable inks.

The team at Olly have carefully selected their materials to ensure limited water consumption and pollution. Choosing to use recycled polyamide material, this reduces the amount of water used by not needing to produce virgin polyamide.
Additionally, they choose to use OETEX certified dyes, which means the dyes used on their fabrics have been certified to not be harmful to people or the planet.

Olly works with a factory in Hungary to make their undies and all workers are paid the Hungary minimum wage. The Olly team makes regular visits to the factory to verify that workers' conditions are upheld.
